Ensuring that people are kept safe and protected from harm is an essential part of providing social care. Yet safe care and treatment is one of the most common areas of regulation breach identified by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) when things go wrong. Regulation 12 is important because it ensures care providers identify risks, prevent harm and provide safe care to the people they support.
This 2 hour masterclass is for CQC registered adult social care services and focuses on how to be compliant with Regulation 12 (Safe Care and Treatment) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
The masterclass provides clear guidance on what safe care looks like in practice and what the CQC expects to see.
