Workshop Description
Co-ordinating your care team and overseeing daily care activities can be challenging. Care Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring that care is well organised, responsive, safe and delivered in accordance with clients' needs and Care Plans.
This interactive workshop is designed to help Domiciliary Care Co-Ordinators understand:
- The role of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and key regulatory requirements
- New client referrals, assessments and care needs
- Co-ordinating care and multi-agency working
- Care planning and risk assessment
- Co-ordinating care visits and responding to changes in care needs
- Safeguarding reporting and responding to safeguarding concerns
- Managing incidents and concerns
- Responding to complaints
- Recognising and escalating risks and concerns appropriately
- Supervising, supporting and communicating with care staff
- Maintaining records and documentation
The workshop is delivered by an expert Trainer and includes practical guidance that can be applied directly within your service.

Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for Care Coordinators working within CQC registered Domiciliary Care Services.
The workshop is not suitable for Registered Managers, Providers or people in other management roles.
The workshop content is specifically designed around the day-to-day responsibilities of the Care Coordinator role. If you work in another role, please contact us before booking, as another workshop may be more appropriate for your role and responsibilities.
