Workshop Description

 

Taking on the role of a CQC Registered Manager brings significant responsibility and accountability. As the person responsible for leading and managing the service, the Registered Manager plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality care while managing the day-to-day demands of supporting clients, leading your team and meeting CQC regulatory requirements.

 

This interactive workshop is designed to help new CQC Registered Managers understand:

 

  • What the Care Quality Commission (CQC) expects from Registered Managers
  • The Registered Manager role and regulatory responsibilities
  • How to establish effective leadership and management of the service
  • How to manage staff, performance and challenging staffing situations
  • How to manage complaints and concerns
  • How to maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • How to develop confidence and assertiveness as a new Registered Manager
  • How to keep your knowledge and skills up to date

 

If you are a new Registered Manager, this workshop will provide practical guidance, useful strategies and greater confidence in managing your regulatory responsibilities.
