About the Workshop

Robust safeguarding practices are essential to ensure you are meeting the Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements, The Health and Social Care Act and The Care Act requirements. As care managers it is so important to deal with safeguarding effectively following local authority thresholds, national guidance and relevant legislation.

This workshop is for staff with management and supervisory responsibilities who already have a good understanding of adult safeguarding. It provides an overview of CQC requirements and manager responsibilities. It also looks at learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews.
